MQTT
The MQTT protocol has been around for over 20 years now. And yet, especially today, it is used in a state-of-the-art area: the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and the Internet of Things (IoT). MQTT is an open messaging protocol for machine-to-machine (M2M) communication that enables the transmission of telemetry data (messages) between devices.
MQTT is the transport of a wide variety of and arbitrarily formatted data. The MQTT protocol is simple and easy to process. As a straightforward and flexible protocol, MQTT is perfectly suited for IoT and Industrial IoT (IIoT).
