Description

The ECO 305 eBus Gateway is a powerful interface of the latest generation between your heating system and the ebusd* software, which you can use to read and write to your heating system, regardless of the manufacturer, and thus carry out optimizations.
The gateway has been optimized for communication with the "ebusd "* software. The enhanced command set (Enhanced Mode) of ebusd* is supported. In addition to the eBus functions, the eBus gateway also has an access point and web server for simple operation and configuration. The LAN interface can be used to communicate with up to 2 data connections via ASCII text protocol. The ECO 305 is a new eBus coupler with a standard 2400 baud data interface, plus an "Enhanced Mode" extension.
The gateway performs a fully automatic level adjustment on your eBus in just a few seconds. A cumbersome, manual adjustment is no longer necessary. The ECO 305 does not carry out any data analysis or evaluation itself. The device settings can be conveniently changed, software updates carried out and device data viewed via the web server. The web server can be accessed via LAN and via AccessPoint (activation at the touch of a button).
This system was developed as a low-maintenance industrial device by implementing it without Linux and with its own native programming. No unknown libraries are used, which guarantees the stability and reliability of the system. Extensive software support is available via ebusd** on the web.
We provide the eConfig-Tool software free of charge for debugging and configuration. 
The ECO 305 is not supported by the Vaillant vrDIALOG software.
