Silicone-insulated cables are used wherever the interaction of high temperature differences or heat makes conventional PVC-insulated cables brittle or fragile. For example as power cable or sensor cable in sauna construction, in ships and airplanes, in heating, cooling and air conditioning technology, in lighting fixtures etc.
The silicone cable is halogen-free and resistant to vegetable and animal fats, many oils and diluted acids as well as decomposition by alcohols, plasticizers, alkalis, salt solutions, etc.
