eBus coupler USB: the data interface to the eBus via USB for PC, Raspberry Pi and co.
Application
The eBus coupler enables read and write access to the eBus of your heating system
By using the appropriate software, you can analyze data from your heating system and send new values to your heating control system via the eBus.
Features
The ESERA eBus coupler is equipped with galvanic isolation between the eBus and PC interface.
The eBus input is bipolar, so you do not need to pay attention to the polarity of the eBus when connecting.
The eBus coupler is equipped with a USB interface from the manufacturer FTDI as a data interface to your PC. Drivers for Windows, Linux and other operating systems are available on the FTDI website.
The housing of the eBus coupler is designed for switch cabinet installation.
Notes
The eBus coupler is not supported by the Vaillant vrDIALOG software.
We recommend using a USB hub with a power supply unit as a power supply. This ensures a continuous power supply independent of a Raspberry Pi, for example
