Additional software is required for the full functionality of the eBus gateways. We recommend ebusd (available at www.ebusd.de), but this is not provided by ESERA. In addition, basic specialist knowledge in the field of heating technology is advantageous in order to be able to carry out the installation and configuration successfully.
Differences between eBus devices
- eBus ECO Gateways: These represent the latest generation of gateways, equipped with numerous practical practical functions such as an integrated web server, automatic level adjustment and optimized compatibility with the ebusd* software.
- eBus coupler: The bus couplers are the basic series for eBus. These eBus couplers have been established on the market for more than 9 years and enable reliable connections to the eBus of the heating control system.
