Low-cost 1-wire temperature sensor DS18B20 in stainless steel sleeve with PVC connection cable and open cable ends. The sensors are suitable for measuring outdoors, on surfaces or in non-aggressive gases. The sensors are not waterproof. The temperature sensor can be connected directly to one of our 1-Wire bus couplers, 1-Wire controllers or 1-Wire hubs. It is also compatible with many other controllers. Application Contact sensor for heating systems, outdoor sensor Note: We recommend connecting a 0.1µF capacitor (ceramic) in parallel with the 1-Wire module, i.e. connecting +5V to GND. The capacitor should be placed as close as possible to increase the stability of the entire 1-Wire network.
