Application

With the eBus coupler you can access the eBUS e.g. of your heating system in read and write mode.
With appropriate software, you can evaluate data from your heating system and send new values to your heating control system via the eBUS.

With the eBus coupler you can access the eBUS e.g. of your heating system in read and write mode. With appropriate software, you can evaluate data from your heating system and send new values to your heating control system via the eBUS.

The eBus coupler is equipped with a galvanic isolation between eBus and PC interface.
The eBus input is bipolar, so you do not need to pay attention to the polarity of the eBus when connecting.
The housing of the eBus coupler is designed for control cabinet installation.

As data interface to your PC, the eBus coupler is equipped with an Ethernet interface. Drivers for Windows operating systems are available.
The eBus coupler is not supported by Vaillant vrDIALOG software.

eBus to serial Coupler

eBus to seriell coupler The eBus Coupler Serial provides read and write access to the eBus network. Thus with appropriate software it is possible to analyze all of your home heating system data and provide it with new operating data.The E-Service eBus Coupler Serial provides galvanic isolation between the eBus and the PC serial interface. The built-in software filter ensures that only payload data is transmitted over the serial interface. This filter significantly reduces the amount of data being transferred.The eBus interface is reverse polarity protected. Therefore it is not necessary to observe signal polarity when connecting to the eBus. The Coupler’s enclosure is designed for mounting within a control cabinet.The eBus coupler is equipped with an RS232 serial interface for transferring data to and from the PC. On the Coupler’s front panel there are LED indicators for “PWR” (eBus input power) and “DATA” (eBus activity). In the area of the eBus terminals there is additional a green LED which indicates the presence of an eBus. An external power adapter which is not included as part of the eBus Coupler delivery is required to operate the eBus Coupler.
