The 1-Wire bus couplers are standard interfaces for many systems that have already integrated the 1-Wire protocol. In some cases, this type of standard interface is also referred to as a gateway. The 1-Wire adapter USB has a special role. This has no insulation between the 1-Wire bus and the interface.

1-Wire Adapter USB DS9490R

Individual 1-Wire sensors can be connected directly. For a network, a 1-Wire Hub or 1-Wire Hub II is recommended as the central power supply. 1-Wire Bus Coupler Pro with USB interface, isolation and external power supply With the professional 1-Wire Bus Coupler USB V3 a stable and electrically isolated connection of the 1-Wire network and a PC, mini computer (e.g. Raspberry Pi) or to many other controllers is established.
