Viele Kunden starten die ersten Versuche mit 1-Wire mit dem preiswerten USB-Adapter. Der Adapter ist ein sehr universeller Busmaster und kann an Windows Rechner schnell eingebunden werden.
Softwareseitig ist der "TMEX" genannte Treiber vom Hersteller Maxim® verfügbar.

Anwendung und Systemumgebung

Der USB-Adapter ist ideal geeignet für Testaufbauten, Testsysteme und für Systeme, die nicht dauerhaft im Betrieb sind.

Durch die Spannungsversorgung über die USB-Buchse des Steuersystems besteht eine starke Abhängigkeit der Zuverlässigkeit von den USB-Energieoptionen des Betriebssystems und der Rechnerhardware. Manche Rechnersysteme neigen dazu, den USB-Port nach längerer Betriebsdauer zu deaktivieren.

Unterstützung und Netzwerkgröße

Es besteht eine gute Treiberunterstützung für Windows und Linux Betriebssysteme. Der USB-Adapter wird gern in Kombination mit dem Rasbperry Pi, Banana Pi und andere Linux Eval-Boards verwendet.

Das 1-Wire Netzwerk kann vom Tischaufbau bis zu einigen 10m Größe gewählt werden. Die maximale Stromaufnahme des 1-Wire Netzwerks sollte nicht mehr wie 50-60mA betragen.

1-Wire Buskoppler

Die Buskoppler stellen die professionelle Verbindung zwischen dem 1-Wire Netzwerk und dem Steuerrechner her.

Sie sind für den Dauerbetrieb in Festinstallationen vorgesehen. Die Geräte sind zur Hausautomation oder für Testsystem in gleicher Weise vorgesehen.

Es sind Ausführungen für serieller, USB und Ethernet-Schnittstelle verfügbar.

WLAN oder andere Funkverbindungen sind systembedingt wegen möglicher Zeitverzögerungen (Latenzzeiten) nicht möglich.


Anwendung und Systemumgebung

Besonderer Wert wurde auf die Isolation zwischen 1-Wire Netzwerk und Steuerrechner und der internen Spannungsversorgung gelegt. Zudem sind alle Anschlüsse sehr stabil ausgelegt.

Alle Buskoppler werden durch externe Netzteile versorgt. Hierdurch wird die Abhängigkeit von der Spannungsversorgung durch USB Buchse des Steuersystems deutlich reduziert.

1-Wire Controller / Gateway

Die 1-Wire Controller sind eine neue Generation der Schnittstelle zwischen 1-Wire Bus und der Systemsteuerung.

Mit dem Controller ist es nicht mehr notwendig, sich mit dem angeschlossenen Sensor oder Aktor selbst zu befassen, sondern nur noch damit, wie der Sensor/Aktor über die Benutzerschnittstelle angesprochen wird.Zusätzlich wird jedes Steuersystem enorm entlastet, da das anspruchsvolle 1-Wire Protokoll von dem 1-Wire Controller erzeugt wird. Damit können kleinere Steuersysteme mit geringerem Stromverbrauch zur Anwendung kommen. 

Funktion der 1-Wire Controller

  • Selbständiges Erkennen neuer 1-Wire Sensoren und Aktoren
  • Zyklisches Abfragen der Sensoren mit sehr hoher Geschwindigkeit
  • Plausibilitätsprüfung der eingelesenen Sensordaten => Ausgabe nur von gültigen Sensordaten
  • Auswerten und Konvertieren der Sensordaten, z.B. Temperaturen
  • Selbständige zyklische Datenausgabe an das übergeordnete System
  • Fehlermeldung bei fehlender Datenverbinung zum Steuerrechner über 1-Wire Aktor, z.B. Relaismodul möglich
  • Datenlogging bei unterbrochener Datenverbindung zum Steuerrechner um keine Messwerte zu verlieren (geplante Option).

Unterstützung und Netzwerkgröße

  • Für die Ethernet-Version sind keine Treiber notwendig. Der Controller wird per Socket Verbindung (TCP/IP oder UDP) an ein Steuersystem angebunden.
  • Für die USB-Version sind Treiber für alle gängigen Betriebssysteme, wie Windows oder Linux verfügbar.
  • Es werden alle Größen von 1-Wire Netzwerken unterstützt. Die Controller sind Ideal geeignet, um 1-Wire Netzwerke auch über große Distanzen mit dem Steuersystem zu verbinden. Die 1-Wire Netzwerke bilden Sub-Systeme, die die Steuerrechner mit geringen Rechenleistungen verwalten können.
