Comfort heating control

Reduce heating costs

Depending on the heating system, you can reduce your heating costs by up to 30% with ESERA. This requires individual room control with feedback to the central heating system. Sensors in the living area detect the living climate and compare it with the setpoint temperature. If the temperature is too low, the radiator valves are activated and a heating requirement is signalled to your central heating system. This then starts to heat the rooms. ESERA does not intervene in the heating control system, but uses the existing functions of the heating system, e.g. "summer/winter mode".

By consistently switching the heating to summer mode, the complete heating circuit is deactivated and thus the "standby losses" (as we call it) of the heating (circulation mode) are prevented. This results in the high energy savings without any loss of comfort. On the contrary, the living comfort increases due to a more even feel-good temperature.
The ESERA feel-good heating control is suitable for normal radiators and underfloor heating.

Clever heating control / Optimized temperature in the room

The system is based on our professional 1-Wire modules and sensors and works on the basis of a two-point controller, which means that the electric heating drives are switched on when the temperature falls below the setpoint temperature and switched off again when the temperature reaches it. So that the drives are not constantly switched on or off when "oscillating" around the setpoint temperature, a hysteresis of 0.2 - 0.4°C should be provided in the control.

With our sensors and actuators you can implement a simple heating control for your living space. In combination with your control software and our sensors a temperature stability of approx. 0,3 - 0,4°C is possible.

With the 1-Wire Analog Output Pro, a DC voltage in the range of 0-10VDC with a resolution of 8 bits can be easily output. The output module can be used, for example, to control a heating mixer, a dimmer or other power components. The analog output is electrically isolated from the 1-wire bus and the power supply, which prevents ground loops or unwanted side effects due to potential differences.
