Network Interface v6.0 Preview
Discover the upcoming features of the latest version of our network interface.
This applies to devices in the ECO series with an integrated web server.
The update brings not only technical improvements, but also a new design, enhanced security, a revamped infrastructure, accessibility features, quality-of-life improvements, and new capabilities.
Switchable color scheme
Switch the color scheme on the login page (day-night icon).
IPv6 & SLAAC support
An IPv4 network is not guaranteed to be available.
IPv6 offers significant advantages, particularly in modern networks and when connecting IoT devices.
HTTPs support
Using HTTPS on a local network also provides protection against data espionage within the network.
Certificate Manager
Our new Certificate Manager allows you to manage certificates according to your needs.
Improved accessibility
The icons are unique in terms of color and design. We have also improved the contrast of the dialog buttons on various pages.
Zone monitoring
The new display for zone monitoring shows multiple bus segments and improves visibility.
Integrated Web API
According to the OpenAPI specification.
Currently available only for ECO series devices with a 1-Wire bus.
Secure Firmware-Updates
With our new update delivery system, we protect you from unwanted and corrupted updates while ensuring you remain up to date.
You can check for updates via the device’s web interface. We deliver these updates using a manifest, which contains checksums and digital signatures to verify that the firmware has not been tampered with.
Modular storage concept
We have completely redesigned the storage system. This has drastically reduced storage usage. If necessary, you may need to reset the device to factory settings after migrating from v5 to v6. To do this, press and hold the AP/Station button for 30 seconds.
Unique network name
Each device has a unique name that appears in the network search. We've also made additional quality-of-life improvements at the network level.
eBus statistics
for ECO series devices with eBus.
General Fixes
In addition to these enhancements, general bugs have been fixed, quality-of-life improvements have been implemented, and much more.
SNMPv3 protocol
SNMP allows network administrators to monitor and manage network devices. SNMP is a widely used standard and is employed in data centers, among other places.
RADIUS Protocol (Authentication)
RADIUS enables centralized authentication, authorization, and accounting for user access. This allows for personalized, cross-device credentials through centralized management.
1-Wire EEPROM Integration
Enables reading from and writing to 1-Wire EEPROMs. The display also supports various modes for showing text and binary data.
Network Monitor
With our network monitoring, you can actively check the status of your devices on the network and automatically respond (switch) to any changes.
